Built for demanding passenger, charter, and cargo operations, the Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain is a high-performance, turbocharged twin-engine aircraft known for its capability, range, and unmistakable character.
Now CIS - Capt. Iceman Series - brings this classic workhorse to X-Plane 12, taking advantage of the aerodynamic and environmental improvements introduced by Laminar Research to deliver a flight model with convincing weight, inertia, and purpose.
From the moment you enter the cockpit, detailed steam-gauge instrumentation, PBR materials, flexible avionics options, immersive sound, and carefully modeled aircraft systems are designed to place you inside the real aircraft. The Chieftain also introduces CIS Control Feel, developed to bridge the response gap between desktop hardware controllers and the heavier, more deliberate flight controls of the full-size aircraft.
